The course opened in 1960 and was designed by Bob Baldock. The course was fine tuned in 1979 by course designer Bill Johnston.
Continental Country Club Golf Course is a delightfully challenging course with fun-to-play par 5s and demanding par 3s. This 18-hole course totals 6,029 yards from the longest of two sets of tee boxess. The red tee boxes play to 5,380 yards. Although a relatively short course making it easy to walk or ride, the par on this course is 73.
The scenic views make this course as appealing to the eye as it is fun to play. The course is shadowed by Mt. Elden making for splendid scenery, as well as comfortable temperatures to play in.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,029 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,380 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 515 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 15, a par-3 that plays to 150 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 460 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Continental is # 2, a 302 yard par-4.

Very wide, short course. Pretty surroundings, very nice people. Just a little boring.

There are only Two Public Courses in this area (Within 50 miles) and this is by far the best. Great staff and good food make the experience well worth the visit.

I play Continental Country Club once a week from April to the end of September. The course is at an elevation of 7,000 feet. The course will stay open in the winter if the weather permits but usually closes because of snow.

Can't really critque course on pace of play other than there was no marshalling at all. Two men, one kid, and two women learning to play golf almost wrecked a fun course; as it was, we had to skip a hole to get buy them. Complete absence of golf etiquette.
